Over-Fire Air Nozzles
mpcp has designed an overfire air system in such a way that the fine particulate will be entrained into the burning gases above the fuel bed
The production of gas from a fuel bed is inevitably accompanied by the lift-off of very small particulate from the bark bed on the grate, as well as by the entrainment of fuel fines into the furnace via the fuel distributors. mpcp has designed an overfire air system in such a way that the fine particulate will be entrained into the burning gases above the fuel bed. mpcp uses a highly developed overfire combustion system that has the capability to exactly match the final combustion of the gas.

As the combustion and gasification process, in the fuel bed, changes due to the rate of grate combustion air, the overfire air system requires the same immediate responsiveness and precision to cover the entire furnace cross-section. While, especially on large furnaces, the large reach requires large capacity overfire air nozzles, their strategic placement is important to generate a large amount of gas recirculation. This provides the necessary retention time to complete combustion of fuel fines.
Over-Fire Air Nozzles
mpcp uses a highly developed overfire combustion air system that has the capability to exactly match the final combustion of the gas above the fuel bed in the furnace to the rate of gasification in the fuel bed. This capability is extremely important since the total overfire air mass is only approximately equal to the mass of gases coming from the fuel bed.
