Design
mpcp dampers are designed for maximum tight shut-off without having to resort to machined seats.

They are generally designed for opposed-bladed operation to obtain maximum repeatability as control dampers. mpcp will build, for special requirements where parallel bladed dampers are required, parallel bladed units. 

It has to be understood, these parallel units are not control dampers, since their slot control is not controllable.

Key Features
mpcp uses a blade shaped venturi design to obtain optimum constructability and a minimum pressure drop. Our Zero Backlash Linkage employs hardened pins and bushings to maintain tight tolerances for long operating periods.

A reverse linkage is used to operate the mpcp opposed blades. By using bolted blades, mpcp makes it possible to tighten each blade in sequence and lock-weld the blade, if required, to the shaft to remain permanently in the correct position.

High-temperature carbon bearings are used to permit burying the whole mpcp damper frame and the bearings under insulation and cladding.
