Bark Distribution Conveyor
mpcp Bark Distribution Conveyor® is designed to handle material capacities up to 15,800 cu ft/hr to two Power Boilers
Bark Conveyor Design
To make this conveyor maintenance friendly, we designed it with aluminum access doors on both sides enabling easy access. All bearings are externally mounted. The drive and the take-up shaft cavities (conveyor ends), have full height and width swing-out access doors.

The conveyor structure and the drive design are matched to the chain capacities, making the mpcp Bark Distribution Conveyor an exceedingly reliable bark handling system.
Bark Conveyor Components
Chain life in a conveyor, apart from abrasion and operating speed, is controlled by the chain tension. By controlling and limiting the chain tension, it is possible to double the conveyor chain life.
To enable this to happen, mpcp conveyors are all equipped with a catenary tensioning system at the drive end of the conveyor.

These bark conveyors use dual, U&R 100T® cast-alloy chains, each with an ultimate capacity of 100 tons pull which ensures high reliability. All mpcp-designed abrasion resistant conveyor sprockets are split and segmented for easy removal, and are fitted to oversize shafts.
Bark Conveyor Construction
Wear plates are lined with either a thick UHMW or steel impregnated UHMW, increasing the longevity of both the runners and the chains.
All UHMW plates are fastened into place by weld washers, for good adherence, and designed for quick change over.

mpcp’s expertise covers a broad range of drag chain conveyor systems. We take pride in building high quality, custom material handling products to fit any requirement. Our inclined drag chain conveyors are perfect solutions when a change in elevation is needed. mpcp drag chain conveyors are designed to draw materials like ash, clinker, coal, wood chips, salt cake and other materials from horizontal to steep inclines.
