Fines can be utilized in agriculture and coarse material can be used in road construction or fill. All mechanical components are located outside the main Trommel body to permit easy maintenance.
mpcp Trommel Capacity and Components
Size of Trommel is determined by boiler capacity and is usually preceded by a double flap gate system to eliminate any influx of air back to the boiler.
Trommel Screen is sized for fine requirements (based on location) and manufactured in A-36 or SS-304.
This Diverter Gate allows work on systems further down line of the system without shutting down the boiler.
Coarse material is dropped into a separate conveyor or bin located at one end. Fines are dropped through the Trommel screen into a Screw conveyor discharging to a conveyor or bin.
